How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother is a half hour comedy on CBS.  Ted Mosby played by Josh Radnor is the main character and the show is based on the events leading up to how he met your character.  Bob Saget plays the voice of future Ted in the year of 2030 and most episodes have him explaining the story to his two children in the beginning.

Marshall Erickson (Jason Segel), his fiance Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigon), Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), and Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) are the other main characters.  Each episode is basically a story that doesn't really seem so important on Ted's journey of finding his wife.  But the stories are told through current time (2005-2010) and usually random off on the fun adventures that Ted and his group of friends had.

Marshall is a lawyer that is very childish; Lily is a kindergarten teacher; Robin is a new reporter, Barney is works for a corporate company and Ted is an architect looking for love.

The first two seasons Robin is the love interest of Ted.  Barney is the single, suit wearing, self described "awesome" human being.  As stuck up as it sounds, Neil Patrick Harris' character is probably the favorite of most of the viewers.   Some episodes, future Ted doesn't remember what happened during one of his epic stories.  These stories are then retold through another person's point of view like the episode, "The Pineapple Incident," where Ted blacked out and woke up with an unknown girl in his bed and a Pineapple on his nightstand.

The show is a fun and entertaining way to spend 22 minutes of your life.  It has a great cast and is actually very funny.

Here is the musical number that they did at the end of their 100th episode.
