Diggnation

This is one of the only Internet TV shows I watch.  Diggnation covers news stories on the social news bookmarking site Digg.com. It is hosted by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. It is more of a video podcast than a production TV show as they have conversations with themselves and also two cameramen and whoever else is in the room.

The show is for a more mature audience because they always have a feature beer (or tea) they are drinking and some of the language they use is a little mature.  For the most part they take about five stories they selected before hand that were on the site a week before and discuss them in detail.  Some of the stories will only get about five minutes of talk and some will get a half hour rambling.

Even though it may seem they are rambling about the subject, what they say makes for a fun and entertaining watching experience.  Most of the users know the hosts life stories and what happens to them regularly because they are also connected through Twitter and various other social sites.  Many people have watching them before when they were on The Screen Savers on TechTV.

One of the more interesting things they do is do live shows at random events like Comic Con or South by South West.  These taping usually gets the audiences involved which makes a very dedicated fan base.    Diggnation airs every Wednesday on Revision3.tv and is available on demand always.
